The Twin Falls Center for the Arts has been designed to be a multi-use community space where people of all walks of life can come together to celebrate life and art in the Magic Valley.
As you approach the Center, you will first see the outdoor plaza. This hardscaped area is designed for outdoor events and gatherings of all kinds, including farmer's markets, outdoor concerts or weddings and other special events.
Inside, you are welcomed into a spacious, two-story atrium. This space takes advantage of our spectacular view of the Snake River Canyon. From the atrium, you can directly access the Magic Valley Arts Council reception area/ticket window, the auditorium, or the restaurant next door, where the eclectic American cuisine is sure to please any palate, and every seat in the house has a view of the canyon.
The auditorium is an intimate performance and exhibit space, capable of seating approximately 170 theater-style, or 100 at tables for meetings, dinner theater or receptions. The stage features a Steinway & Sons grand piano, a full lighting and sound system, and a projection system suitable for showing independent films or accompanying a presentation or lecture. When performances are not in progress, the auditorium becomes an art gallery, showing the work of local and regional artists.
On the second story of the building, there are three multipurpose rooms, which will be used for art classes, meetings and lectures. Two of the rooms are separated by a folding wall, which will allow these rooms to become one larger room when needed. There is also a common conference room with its own private coffee area and balcony overlooking the plaza and the canyon rim trail.
The remainder of the building will be occupied by professional offices.
The auditorium, multipurpose rooms, conference room and plaza will all be available to rent by the day or by the hour once the building is open. Pricing is still being determined at this time but check back often for updates.
